Julian StarFest 2013

The 6th annual Julian StarFest was indeed a good one. The weather was fantastic, skies were clear, and wine was flowing (so I heard).

The wife and I stayed at the Artists' Loft Cabins about 4-5 miles south of the star party grounds. The night sky photos were taken from there.

Be sure to click the images for larger versions (especially the star trails photos, the smaller versions look pretty bad in IE due to it's lack of anti-aliasing).

GMARS Star Party: An Unlikely Star

While the sky above GMARS was pretty darn good on Friday and Saturday nights, the clouds stole the show on Saturday evening, 8/3. Here are a few photos.
