Moon dims, turns red, world ends

The so-called "blood moon" has appeared and no giant earthquakes yet. In fact, it's about 60F and motion-free here in southern California while I take images of the eclipsed moon.

The eclipsed moon with the star Spica. Taken at 12:10AM on 4/15/2014 local time. Takahashi FSQ-106ED X-III and Canon EOS 5D Mark II on an Astro-Physics Mach 1 GTO mount. 0.6 second exposure at ISO 400.
As a great and wise man once said, "Don't believe the hype."
