More Milky Way, You Say? OK.

Here's another image of our Milky Way galaxy, this time pointing toward the Sagittarius region. This one was taken in May during my Cima Road session, which I posted about here.

Visible at the center of this image is M8, the Lagoon Nebula. Also visible are the Trifid Nebula (M20), the Eagle Nebula (M16), the Swan Nebula (M17), the Cat's Paw Nebula, as well as several other nebulae and star clusters.

Canon EOS 60Da, 40mm f/2.8 lens at f/3.5. 38 minute exposure (19 x 2 minutes), ISO 1250.
Tracked using the iOptron SkyTracker.
